A meeting at the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, chaired on Sunday by Minister of Transport and Public Works Mohammed Qahim, reviewed the mid-term achievement report of the Authority's work plan for the year 2024.
The meeting, which included Deputy Minister of Transport and Public Works Yahya Al-Sayani, Undersecretary Arif Al-Ashram and Assistant Undersecretaries of the Authority, discussed the percentage of achievement for each sector of the projects, programs and activities approved in the plan in the field of civil aviation and meteorology.
He discussed the most important achievements at Sana'a International Airport, the meteorological and aviation safety sectors, the difficulties facing each sector, and the solutions needed to accomplish more important projects.
At the meeting, the Minister of Transportation , Public Works and his deputy were handed the ISO 2015 international quality certificate which was obtained by the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority, represented by the Aviation Safety Sector, for the second time by applying the quality management system after investigating all the specifications and standards set, which proves the extent of the Authority's application of international conditions and specifications in the safety of the civil aviation field.
