A meeting held on Sunday between the Undersecretaries of Sana'a Province for the Investment Sector, Yahya Jumaan, and the General Authority for Investment (GAFI), Mohammed Al-Farzai, discussed the investment opportunities in the province prepared by the joint technical teams.
The meeting reviewed the national program for investment, production and service opportunities in the province and the lists of investment opportunities in the targeted sectors, stressing the importance of accommodating technical observations on the lists in a number of sectors.
During the meeting, the lists of proposed opportunities in the sectors of manufacturing industries, extractive industries, mining, tourism, transportation, agriculture, plant , animal production and other sectors were reviewed in coordination with the authorities, provided that the next meeting will be a date for the actual start of converting these opportunities into studies.
The province and KDIPA deputies praised the efforts of the joint technical teams in accomplishing the work in the various sectors, stressing the importance of utilizing the matrix of investment opportunities in different sectors, with a focus on preparing studies for opportunities that have an attractive return on investment, attract investors, have feasibility and appropriate returns that support the national economy.
