Sa'ada - Saba:
Today, Sa'ada Governor Mohamed Jaber Awad met with Benjamin Wahren, the head of the ICRC sub-delegation in the governorate, to discuss the ICRC's activities in the area.

The meeting, which was attended by the Director of the Red Crescent Society branch, Hassan Al-Moalif, and the Assistant Head of Mission, Bashir Jubran, touched on the activities that the committee will implement during the coming period, and the problems facing its work.

Governor Awad pointed to the governorate's needs for service projects, and the importance of expanding the committee's activities and focusing on sustainable projects. He pointed out that Saada is one of the governorates that were deprived of projects, and its infrastructure was targeted and destroyed by the aggression.

He stressed the importance of the Red Cross Committee's support for the branch of the Yemen Red Crescent Society in the governorate. He praised the efforts of the ICRC and its prominent role compared to other organizations in the implementation of projects, the most important of which is the Limb Center project, as well as its interventions in Talh General Hospital.

The head of the delegation praised the cooperation of the local authority in Saada with the ICRC and the level of strengthening relations with it. He expressed readiness to communicate with the mission's administration in Geneva to expand its activities in Saada.
