Shabwa Governor: October 14 Revolution is epic from which Yemenis derive sacrifice, struggle to expel new occupiers
[14/ October/2024]
Sana'a - Saba: The Governor of Shabwa, Awad Al-Awlaqi, considered the 61st anniversary of the October 14 Revolution a great revolutionary epic in which the Yemenis embody their pride in this immortal revolution in which the fighters of the September 26 and October 14 revolutions united to expel the occupation and derive from it the sacrifice and struggle to expel the new occupation from the south of the country.

The Governor of Shabwa explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that this revolution represented the launch of the armed struggle stage from the Radfan Mountains in order to expel the British occupation that had been sitting on the land of the south of the country for about 129 years.

He pointed out that the glorious October 14 Revolution still represents a revolutionary station from which the Yemenis draw inspiration for the greatest meanings of struggle and sacrifice in order to wrest their freedom, independence and sovereignty from the occupier by force, and embodies their bias and victory for their honorable history of struggle that rejects all forms of guardianship and occupation throughout all stages of ancient and modern history.
