The Supreme Judicial Council, in its weekly meeting under the chairmanship of the Council's President, Judge Dr. Abdulmumin Shujaa al-Din, approved on Tuesday the performance report of the Council and its General Secretariat for the past year 1445 AH.
The report included the most important goals and tasks accomplished, as well as the challenges that emerged when implementing the council's plan and its general secretariat for the past year.
The Council thanked the General Secretariat for the efforts exerted in order to improve work performance and raise the achievement level .
The Judicial Council reviewed the code of ethical and professional behavior for the administrative staff of the judiciary, in light of the Code of Ethical Conduct for Employees of State Agencies.
The code includes a set of ethical and professional rules, values and high general principles that are part of the faith identity, which should be followed while performing the tasks assigned to administrative workers in the judiciary, in order to reflect positively on their relations with society and gain the satisfaction of the recipients of the services provided by the judicial authority bodies.
The Council referred the matter to a member to review and report back to the Council.
The Council also reviewed a number of requests referred by the Presidential Office and attached studies prepared by the Grievance Redressal Authority regarding the reconsideration of judicial rulings issued against a number of complainants, and took the appropriate decisions.
The Council discussed a number of topics on its agenda, took the appropriate decisions, and approved the minutes of its previous meeting after making some amendments.
