Hodeida deputy governors, Mohamed al-Nahari, Mohamed al-Halisi and Ali al-Kebari, on Tuesday inaugurated headcount project for milk producers in the Yemeni western governorate.
The project is aimed to create an integral database for milk producers in the ten most productive districts, and to study the foundation of new distribution center to collect and sell milk in the provincial center and districts.
Milk production is one of the key income sources for rural families in Tehama, chairman of Tehama development corporation said.
The project comes to help micro-farmers to improve their livings that have largely been affected by aggression and siege, Ali Haza'a added.
