Today, the Minister of Electricity, Energy, and Water, Dr. Ali Saif Mohammed, met with the Governor of Sana'a, Abdul Basit Al-Hadi, to discuss the governorate's requirements for electricity, water, and sewage service projects.
The meeting, which included Deputy Minister of Electricity and Water Adel Bader, and Director of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in the municipality, Eng. Mohamed Madas, touched on ways to expand the water network in the governorate and implement sustainable projects to alleviate the suffering of citizens under the conditions and repercussions of aggression and blockade.
The Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water stressed keenness to coordinate efforts with the governorate's leadership to improve water and sanitation services and implement electricity projects within the ministry's plan and priorities during the coming period.
He pointed to the continued support for water projects in the governorate's directorates, especially sustainable projects with solar energy. He expressed hope that the local authority will cooperate and support the local water and sanitation corporation in implementing its projects.
In turn, the Governor of Sana'a stressed the keenness of the leadership of the local authority to maintain cooperation with all activities implemented by the ministry, its bodies and institutions. He expressed gratitude for the Ministry's leadership's understanding of the needs of the governorate and its keenness to implement possible projects.
