The General Directorate of Cultural and Social Activity held on Thursday a cultural evening for clubs participating in the Republic Karate Championship organized by the Karate Federation at the Recreational Club in Sana'a, with the participation of 75 players.
In the evening, the Director of Cultural and Social Activities at the Ministry of Youth, Dr. Mohammed Al-Hajj, praised the participation of the clubs in the evening.
He stressed that the meeting of the sons of the one nation in sports events reflects their cohesion and their stand against the conspiracies that surround Yemen's land and people.
Al-Hajj pointed out that sports and cultural activities strengthen the bonds of brotherhood and love between young people, who represent the hope of the nation in development and construction.
Zaid Jahaf, deputy director of Amana Youth Office, and Sana'a University faculty member Dr. Muhammad al-Qadi pointed to the role of Yemen's youth in activating youth and sports activities.
The cultural evening included the presentation of awareness-raising slides and a cultural competition that ended with the team from Capital Secretariat and Al-Hodeida winning the competition.
