"Sitex" exhibition for Info technology, communications concluded

The fifth international "Sitex" exhibition for information technology and communications technology concluded on Thursday in the capital Sana'a.

Organized over six days by "al-Hadaf" Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the event showcased advancements in the sector.

Eng. Ali al-Wada'i, head of the commercial sector at the General Telecommunications Corporation, praised the Ministry of Communications for its leadership and support in making the exhibition a success.

He emphasized that the Minister of Communications' sponsorship of such initiatives is vital for keeping pace with developments in communications systems, cybersecurity, and technology, particularly as Yemen embarks on a path of reconstruction and progress.

Hassan al-Faran, Director General of al-Hadaf Foundation, noted that the exhibition featured participation from 20 local and international institutions and companies specializing in communications, information systems, cybersecurity, and cloud computing.

The exhibition also included seminars and workshops that engaged local and international experts via the Zoom platform, covering software systems and various aspects of communications and internet security.

Al-Faran expressed gratitude for the Ministry of Communications' sponsorship and urged telecommunications companies to invest in scientific innovation projects.

He highlighted the potential of Yemen's talented youth in information technology and stressed the importance of supporting their innovative projects.
