Sana'a - Saba:
The National Centre for Meteorology and Early Warning on Friday predicted thunderstorms of varying intensity and sporadic thunderstorms in parts of several governorates over the next 24 hours.
The center said in daily weather bulletin that thunderstorms of varying intensity are expected to fall on parts of the deserts and highlands of Al-Mahara, Hadhramout, Shabwa, Lahj, Taiz, Dhalea and Ibb governorates.
He pointed to the possibility of sporadic rains on parts of the governorates of Raymah, Hajjah, Mahweet, Hodeida, Tehama Plain, the eastern and southwestern coasts, and the Socotra archipelago.
The center warned citizens against being in valley bottoms, torrential rain and thunderstorms during the rains.
The center also warned motorists on mountain roads of the low horizontal visibility due to rain and dense low clouds, and against crossing land bridges during torrential rains.
