Inspecting  progress of work to resume sewage project in Sana'a Sailah

Sana'a - Saba: The Minister of Electricity, Energy and Water, Dr. Ali Saif, and the Mayor of the Capital, Dr. Hamoud Abbad, inspected on Saturday, the progress of work on resuming the project to rehabilitate the main sewage transmission line in the Sana'a Sailah, at a cost of six million and 400 thousand dollars.

The Minister of Electricity and the Mayor of the Capital, along with the Deputy Minister of Electricity and Water, Adel Bader, and the Undersecretary of the Secretariat for the Projects Sector, Eng. Abdul Karim Al-Houthi, reviewed the work to complete the first phase and the completion rate, which reached 92 percent, for the project funded by the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS).

They listened from the Director of the Urban Cities Project, Mohammed Al-Shami, to an explanation about the implementation of the project, which included replacing the main sewage lines with a length of five kilometers and 148 meters, as well as the progress of work to complete the remaining section with a length of 400 meters in front of the Al-Nahrain Mosque in the old Sana'a Sailah.
