Amran - Saba: The Amran Water Basin Committee discussed in its meeting on Saturday, headed by the Governor's Deputy Hassan Al-Ashqas, the requests submitted to the committee regarding drilling new wells and deepening other wells within the basin.
The committee reviewed 18 requests to drill new wells and deepen them and their technical and legal status to obtain licenses, as well as objecting to some of the submitted requests for their illegality.
The committee approved the acceptance of drilling two wells, postponing two wells, and rejecting 14 requests for not meeting the technical and legal conditions, and preventing random and illegal drilling in the basin areas, especially in the Raydah Directorate, and coordinating with the relevant authorities to control any random drilling violations.
