Today, the Aircraft Maintenance Center of Yemen Airways at Sana'a International Airport successfully concluded the A6 periodic inspection of the Yemeni A330 aircraft, adhering to international specifications and standards.

Khalil Jahaf, the Acting Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Sana'a airline, stated to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the aircraft's periodic inspection was completed successfully, adhering to the scheduled timeline and the maintenance protocols sanctioned by the manufacturing company and the General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology.

He clarified that the inspection encompassed all the primary systems and components of the aircraft, adhering to the utmost standards of quality and safety. He noted that the inspection spanned two days and involved a specialized team comprising over fifty engineers and technicians from diverse fields.

He noted that the inspection was conducted in the hangars and workshops of the airline maintenance center in Sana'a, outfitted with the latest equipment and tools as per international specifications and standards.

Jahaf regards periodic inspections as a crucial component of the aircraft maintenance program, aiming to guarantee the aircraft's safety and operational efficiency, as well as to prolong its lifespan and minimize long-term maintenance expenses.

He noted that the aircraft maintenance center in Sanaa is accredited by the General Authority of Aviation, affirming the high-quality services delivered by skilled Yemeni personnel with technical qualifications and extensive experience in civil aviation.

"The center employs highly skilled technical teams adept at performing a full range of inspections and maintenance on A320 and A330 aircraft, encompassing heavy inspections. It boasts hangars and workshops outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment, as well as a ready supply of spare parts sourced from manufacturers sanctioned by European and American aviation authorities," he stated.

The Acting Chairman of the airline's Board of Directors confirmed that the maintenance center is equipped to perform a variety of technical checks. This includes heavy C inspections, comprehensive long-term maintenance programs, as well as engine replacements and aircraft reweighing.

The successful completion of the A6 periodic aircraft inspection is a testament to the maintenance center's efficiency and its capability to deliver high-quality services. It also demonstrates the center's dedication to ensuring the safety and security of its passengers.

Yemen Airways' Aircraft Maintenance Centre at Sana'a International Airport was inaugurated last August.
