Sana'a - Saba:

The Ministry of Youth and Sports announced its readiness to host elections for the Board of Directors of the General Football Association in the capital Sana'a, and to bear the financial costs of holding the elections.

Minister of Youth and Sports Dr. Mohammed al-Muwalad confirmed in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that there are no obstacles preventing the elections from being held in the capital Sana'a, and that the ministry and the Youth Fund will undertake to support them financially and provide the means for their success; without the need for elections related to Yemeni sports to be held outside Yemen.

He said, "After the Yemeni Football Association set November 30 as the date for electing a new board of directors, the last elections held by the Yemeni Football Association, headed by Ahmed al-Eisi, were in 2014."

The Minister of Youth and Sports explained that the government of change and construction welcomes the sons of the homeland, and will be keen to achieve their aspirations and support them without exception.
