The First Deputy Governor of Hodeida Province, Ahmed Al-Bishri, Undersecretary of Services Affairs, Mohammed Halisi, and Director General of Traffic, Dr. Bakil Al-Barashi, inaugurated on Tuesday the new building of the Traffic Department in Hodeida at a cost of 162 million riyals.
During the inauguration, Al-Bishri, Halisi and Al-Barashi, along with the provincial security director, Major General Aziz Al-Jaradi, were briefed on the building's equipment and contents, which includes administrative offices according to the organizational structure of the Traffic Department.
The building, which was built with the support of the Interior and the local authority Ministry , consists of an automated issuance , renovation unit, accidents , violations section, administrative and financial affairs offices, a meeting room, a restroom, housing, a parking lot , a backyard for the detention and arrest section.
The first deputy governor considered the construction of a new building for the Traffic Department as a qualitative step in the framework of efforts to improve traffic services in Hodeida , in line with the requirements of administrative, technical and field traffic work.
For his part, Director General of Traffic Al-Barashi praised the cooperation of the local authority in Hodeida Province with the Traffic Department , the removal of all obstacles facing the traffic men, and the keenness to support the department.
