Zionist settlers established, on Tuesday, a new settlement outpost on the lands of Farkha village, southwest of Salfit, north of the occupied West Bank.
Eyewitnesses said that the settlers moved caravans and building materials to al-Batin area west of Farkha village, under the protection of the Zionist enemy army.
They pointed out that this outpost comes as part of the expansion of the nearby settlement of "Ariel", which is built on confiscated lands estimated at 1250 dunums.
According to data from the Wall and Settlement Resistance Authority, settlers have carried out more than 16,600 attacks on Palestinians in the West Bank, their properties and lands, since the start of the Zionist aggression against Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023.
Regarding settlement construction, the Authority indicated that since the beginning of the genocidal war, the occupation has drawn up plans, according to which more than 8,511 housing units will be built in the West Bank, and 6,723 in Al-Quds occupied city.
