The Russian Defense Ministry announced Tuesday the elimination of 2040 Ukrainian soldiers and the destruction of dozens of vehicles over the past 24 hours.
The ministry said, in its daily statement on the developments of the military operation in Ukraine, that its forces were able to eliminate 2040 Ukrainian soldiers, and shoot down 77 drones.
It added that its forces took control of the town of Novosadovoy in Donetsk province and destroyed a number of various weapons.
