Today in Al-Bayda Governorate, an introductory workshop was conducted on the implementation mechanisms of the winter emergency agriculture program for the current agricultural season of 1446 AH.
The workshop saw the attendance of 50 participants representing the agricultural office branches across various directorates. It was organized by the Executive Unit for the Management of Agricultural Projects and Initiatives Finances in collaboration with the Agriculture and Irrigation Office.
The meeting covered several working papers highlighting the importance of utilizing the current winter season to cultivate as much land as possible with priority crops, in addition to outlining the future vision for the agricultural plan amidst the ongoing aggression and blockade.
It stressed the activation of the role of existing associations, strengthening the role of agricultural branches in the directorates, qualifying unit coordinators in associations, enhancing the role of development partners, coordinating between agricultural branches and agricultural associations, and keeping pace with rapid changes.
