Tehran - Saba: Speaker of the Iranian Shura Council Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf confirmed on Tuesday, his country's support for the resistance front.. calling on Islamic countries to confront the Zionist entity by supporting the resistance and exerting pressure on "Israel".
Iranian news agencies quoted Qalibaf as saying: "Iran stands by the resistance front, with the blood of its leaders and soldiers".
Qalibaf pointed out that "Islamic countries must not allow the Zionist entity to employ its capabilities to commit crimes against Muslims".. adding: "The political pressure of Islamic countries must lead to stopping the Zionist killing machine".
He stressed, during his meeting with the ambassadors of Islamic countries in Tehran, in a meeting held to discuss the current developments in the region and the repercussions of the Zionist aggression on Palestine and Lebanon, that "it is the duty of all Islamic countries to support the resistance and its struggle, as today there is no longer a chance for leniency and neutrality"
