The Islamic Resistance Movements Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Palestine confirmed today, Sunday, that the Tel Aviv operation that targeted Zionist soldiers is a natural response to the enemy’s massacres and genocide crimes in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Palestinian Information Center, Hamas considered in a press statement that the operation is “a natural response to the crimes of the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people, and its ongoing brutal massacres, especially in the northern Gaza Strip, where the most heinous acts of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement of innocent civilians are being committed.”
Hamas said that “the valiant Palestinian people continue to challenge the Zionist killing and terror machine, and that they are committed to continuing the path of resistance and sacrifice until the will of the fascist enemy is broken and defeated.”
For its part, the Islamic Jihad Movement said: "The steadfastness and will of the Palestinian people is most clearly demonstrated through the heroic Tel Aviv operation, and the continued resistance in the West Bank, Gaza, southern Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq by causing pain to the enemy."
It pointed out that Tel Aviv operation proves that the resistance still holds the initiative, and is always ready to deliver painful blows to the enemy, stressing that it will confront the enemy's plans throughout the Palestinian territories.
Six Zionist soldiers were killed and 50 others were injured, including ten in serious condition, in a run-over operation that took place near a bus station at Glilot military base junction north of Tel Aviv, which includes military headquarters.
