Launching third phase of rural roads expansion program in Al-Rajm, Mahwit

Mahwit - Saba:
The third phase of the program to expand and improve the quality of service of rural roads in the province, which is implemented by the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit at the Ministry of Finance in partnership with the community and the local authority, was inaugurated on Sunday in Al-Rajm district, Al-Mahwit province.

At the inauguration, the representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit, Engineer Mukhtar Al-Turki, explained that these projects come within the framework of improving road services to facilitate the movement of citizens, especially in rural areas, in addition to motivating the community , its participation in the implementation of service and development projects.

He pointed out that the third phase includes the support of the Derktel Intervention Unit for 6 projects in Al-Rajm district, at a cost of 24 million, 622 thousand and 315 riyals, represented in the construction and expansion of Al-Qasaba-Ghurra-Athar-Qatana road, with a distance of 4 kilometers and 500 meters.

For his part, the director of Al-Rajm district, Ibrahim Al-Nasser, appreciated the support of the local authority leadership in the province in implementing development projects in the district, and its keenness to implement the Revolution Leader 's directives and the President of the Supreme Political Council on the need to promote the development sector and alleviate the citizens' suffering .

He praised the role of the Central Intervention Unit in the success of the work and its contribution by providing equipment, praising the interaction , efforts of the people to continue the work and complete infrastructure projects, especially in rural areas, in order to meet the aspirations of the community to advance the development directorate's aspects.
