Distribution aid to 5,621 people affected by floods in Hodeida

Hodeida - Saba:
The branch of the Supreme Council for the Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs and International Cooperation in Hodeida province distributed on Sunday food and shelter assistance to 5,621 people affected by the floods in a number of districts.

The aid included 5,131 food baskets for affected cases in Al-Zahra, Al-Hawk, Al-Mina, Al-Lahiya, Al-Mansouriya, Al-Maghlaf and Al-Sukhna districts through the World Food Program, in addition to food , shelter aid for 360 families in Al-Jarahi district and 130 families in Jabal Ras district through the Human Appeal organization.

The director of the council's branch in the province, Jaber Al-Razhi, explained that the aid comes within the framework of the response plan to provide aid and mitigate the damage to targeted families in the countryside and cities of Al-Hodeida.

The deputy director of the council's branch, Abdullah Al-Ahdal, stressed the continued coordination with humanitarian partners, organizations, associations and charitable institutions to meet the needs of families whose houses were severely damaged by the floods.
