The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Dr. Ali Al-Yafi'i, today inspected the ongoing renovation and maintenance work in the ministry's building.
Minister Al-Yafi'i, accompanied by several ministry leaders, toured the building's corridors and various facilities.
Minister Al-Yafi'i listened to the engineers and technicians explain the maintenance work, its implementation requirements according to the approved technical specifications, and its completion within the specified period.
In addition, the Minister of Culture and Tourism met with the ministry's leadership and employees, urging them to provide visions, and proposals, and develop strategic plans and projects that would advance the cultural and tourism reality.
He pointed out that the ministry's leadership is currently working to improve the ministry's revenues; to serve the development process in the country, and reflect on the conditions of the ministry's employees.
He reviewed the projects, plans, and programs being implemented as part of the ministry's priorities, noting that the project to renovate and maintain the ministry's building is being implemented using self-generated resources.
He reiterated the emphasis on not compromising any corruption issues and referring any violations to the Public Funds Prosecution.
In a related context, the Minister of Youth visited the carpentry workshop affiliated with the Development and Heritage Fund and directed the provision of all materials and requirements for the renovation work of the ministry building.
