Russian air defence systems shot down 15 Ukrainian drones over Kursk, Bryansk and Oryol provinces within one hour, the Russian Ministry of Defence announced.
The Russian RT channel quoted the ministry as saying in a statement: ‘Today, October 28, from about 18:30 to 19:30 Moscow time, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack using drones on facilities on the territory of Russia was thwarted.’
‘The air defence systems on duty destroyed 15 Ukrainian drones, six of them over the territory of Bryansk province, one over the territory of Oryol province, and eight over the territory of Kursk province.’
On an almost daily basis, Ukrainian forces target Russian border areas in Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh, Rostov and Crimea provinces with drones and missiles.
