Taiz - Saba:
A meeting in the Shara'b Ar Rawnah district of Taiz governorate discussed mechanisms for expanding the cultivation of solid and neglected lands, as well as emergency winter agriculture for the Shara'b As Salam and Al-Rawnah districts.
The meeting, chaired by the governor's deputy for development, Abdul-Wasi' Al-Shamsi, included the agricultural sector official in the governorate, Engineer Abdullah Al-Jundi, the director of the Cooperative Agricultural Union branch in the governorate, Amer Al-Ahdal, and the deputy director of the Social Affairs Office, Qaid Al-Nahal. They addressed ways to utilize suitable and unused lands for the cultivation of grain and legumes.
The attendees, including the director of the Sharab Al-Salam district, Ahmed Al-Qaisi, and coordinators from the Bonyan Foundation, Majid Al-Sagheer, and Muhammad Labib, emphasized the importance of cultivating lands in each district that have irrigation sources for grain cultivation.
They also confirmed the serious commitment of the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the governorate's leadership to agricultural expansion and the advancement of this vital sector to achieve self-sufficiency in grain and legume crops, utilizing available support and resources.
