Hodeida - Saba:
Hodeida University and its affiliated colleges held on Thursday solidarity protests in support of the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples, denouncing the ongoing crimes of the Israeli forces in Gaza and the southern suburbs.
The protests took place at the Arts and Literature Complex, as well as various colleges on the main campus, including Dentistry, Education, and the Center for Community Development in Zabid, along with the College of Education in Beit al-Faqih and Bajel district.
Led by Province undersecretary Ahmed al-Bishri, participants, draped in Yemeni, Palestinian, and Lebanese flags, chanted slogans promoting readiness to fight for "the promised conquest and holy jihad" alongside the Yemeni armed forces.
The participants expressed pride in the leadership of Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and commended the actions of the Yemeni military in regional waters against perceived enemies.
The protesters condemned the silence of Arab regimes regarding the ongoing genocide in Gaza and called for urgent intervention to halt the Israeli aggression. They emphasized the need for unity in defending the Palestinian people amidst ongoing ethnic cleansing efforts.
A statement from the protests reiterated Yemen's commitment to the cause of holy jihad and urged solidarity with the Palestinian and Lebanese peoples. It called for a collective Arab and Islamic response to the atrocities faced by their brethren in Gaza and Lebanon.
The statement highlighted the need to halt normalization projects with Israel and to leverage the current resistance victories to change the dynamics in favor of the Palestinian cause.
