Training Course on agricultural value Chains in Dhamar concluded

Dhamar - Saba:

A training course focused on agricultural value chains for crops and livestock concluded on Wednesday at the National Center for Agricultural Training, part of the General Authority for Agricultural Research and Extension in Dhamar province.

The course targeted newly graduated agricultural engineers from the Faculty of Agriculture at Sana'a University.

Spanning 25 days, the course aimed to equip 26 agricultural engineers from various specialties with the skills to write and prepare technical reports for agricultural surveys.

Participants received both theoretical and practical instruction on agricultural value chains for crops and livestock, applying their learning in the fields under the guidance of experienced senior researchers from the General Authority for Agricultural Research and Extension.

At the closing ceremony, Dr. Abed al-Bail, Vice Chairman of the Authority, emphasized the organization’s commitment to developing and qualifying agricultural professionals. He urged participants to apply their knowledge in practical settings to enhance agricultural development and growth, highlighting the critical role of young agricultural engineers in achieving self-sufficiency.

Dr. Amin Rajih, Director General of the National Center for Agricultural Training, noted the course's significance in empowering university graduates to contribute to a sustainable agricultural renaissance, aiming to improve food security and reduce reliance on food imports.
