Russian army announces control over new town, down 67 Ukrainian drones

Moscow - Saba:

Units of the Russian army have successfully liberated the town of Kruglyakovka in the Kharkiv province and destroyed numerous Western weapons used by Ukrainian forces over the past 24 hours across various fronts.

The Russian Ministry of Defense, in its daily report on the progress of the special military operation, stated that the Russian "North" forces have strengthened their positions in Kharkiv province and repelled two attacks, inflicting losses of 70 soldiers, along with destroying Western artillery and vehicles.

The "West" forces also reported their successful liberation of Kruglyakovka, having repelled five attacks and inflicting 410 casualties on Ukrainian forces. They also destroyed armored vehicles, Western artillery, an electronic warfare station, additional equipment, and five ammunition depots.

The report confirmed that the "South" forces continued their advance, repelling two attacks and inflicting 520 casualties on the Ukrainian army, while destroying their armored vehicles, artillery, two electronic warfare stations, and two ammunition depots.

The "Center" forces bolstered their advance in the Donetsk Republic, successfully repelling ten attacks and inflicting 515 casualties on the opposing forces, along with destroying their artillery and armored vehicles. The "East" forces continued their advance in Donetsk, repelling two attacks and inflicting 115 casualties on Ukrainian forces, while destroying a tank, vehicles, and Western artillery.

The "Dnepr" forces dealt heavy losses to the Ukrainian army in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, inflicting 55 casualties and destroying artillery and two electronic warfare stations.

Additionally, Russian air defense systems successfully destroyed an American "HIMARS" missile launcher and shot down 67 Ukrainian drones.

The report highlighted that Russian forces continue to target military airfields, infrastructure, and energy sites supporting Ukrainian forces along the Zaporozhye and Donetsk axes.
