Geneva - Saba:
United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres emphasized that the killing of journalists by the Zionist enemy army in Gaza Strip is "unacceptable," calling for their protection from the genocide committed by the enemy in Gaza Strip.

This came in a message he sent to an international media seminar that kicked off at the UN office in Geneva on Friday.

Guterres noted that the war on Gaza completed its first year last month, and that this seminar is being held under very difficult circumstances due to the extension of violations to Lebanon.

Guterres also criticized the continued Zionist ban that prevents international journalists from entering Gaza, noting that journalists in Gaza are being killed at a level unprecedented in any conflict.

Guterres reiterated his call for an end to the Zionist attacks and occupation.

"It is time to immediately declare a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, the immediate , unconditional release of all hostages, and the effective delivery of humanitarian aid," he added.

The ongoing Zionist aggression on Palestine since October 7, 2023, has killed 184 journalists and media workers, the last of whom was journalist Bilal Mohammed Rajab, who was killed in an enemy raid on Gaza City, according to data issued by the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate.
