Prime Minister Ahmed al-Rahawi met on Monday with Capital San'a mayor Dr. Hamoud Ubad.
During the meeting, the conditions of the capital and the level of general performance were discussed, especially with regard to services, their stability and expansion in light of the increasing pressures witnessed by the various directorates of the capital and the service sector in particular as a result of the rapid urban expansion.
The meeting touched on improvement efforts and planned projects to increase green spaces in a number of areas, in addition to following up on aspects of cleanliness and environmental protection and what this aspect requires in terms of collective community awareness to support the existing efforts to clean the capital and contribute to highlighting its civilized face.
The Prime Minister stressed the government's interest in the capital Sana'a and supporting the development paths for service and improvement aspects and supporting it with the necessary and enabling components and capabilities to expand service projects, especially those related to the components of daily life for the population.
He commended the efforts made by the Capital Sana'a's leadership in coordination with various relevant government agencies to enhance the stability of basic services and the gradual expansion to deliver them to deprived neighborhoods and areas.
