The Governor of Al-Bayda, Abdullah Idris, inspected on Tuesday the level of performance and services provided by the branch of the General Organization for Slaughterhouses and Meat Markets.
Governor Idris, along with Governor Saleh Al-Mansouri, listened to an explanation of the activities and works carried out by the branch through field visits to control meat markets and apply health requirements, in addition to the difficulties facing the performance of the institution and ways to address them.
The governor and the deputy governor were also briefed on the progress of work in the sections of barns, veterinary quarantine and the central slaughterhouse, the nature of supervisory and control work, early detection of carcasses and veterinary quarantine methods.
He stressed the need for everyone to feel responsible for preserving livestock, activating the monitoring role to prevent the slaughter of females , young livestock, and implementing legal measures against violators.
Al-Bayda governor expressed the readiness of the provincial leadership to support the efforts of the organization's branch in order to improve performance and overcome difficulties.
