Amsterdam - Saba:
International Criminal Court (ICC) Prosecutor Karim Khan defended on Tuesday, the request for an arrest warrant against Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
He said: "Should I wait until everyone dies?", referring to the Zionist genocide that has been going on for more than a year in Gaza Strip.
The German magazine "Der Spiegel" quoted Khan in an interview, saying that Zionist officials "are not above international law."
On May 20, court prosecutor Karim Khan revealed that he had requested arrest warrants against Netanyahu and War Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes in Gaza.
"Why can't the law that applies to Ukrainians and Sudanese be applied to Palestinians? Is it right to exclude a certain geographical area from the law?" he said, adding that all ICC member states, except Canada, recognize Palestine as a state.
Khan noted that all ICC member states, with the exception of Canada, recognize Palestine as a state.
Khan defended the need for the ICC to take action against Zionist officials.
Khan pointed to the martyrdom of civilians in Gaza. Saying: "There are 30 to 40 thousand martyrs and mothers suffering from miscarriages and hunger... This disrespectful court is in the pocket of the United States, Germany and other powerful countries.
Back in August, Khan again asked the ICC to quickly issue arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant.
