A published Australian study predicted that the annual death toll from cancer in the world will nearly double by 2050.
The study said: It expects cancer to cause the death of 18.5 million people worldwide by 2050, an increase of 89.7 percent, compared to 9.7 million deaths related to the disease recorded in 2022.
