The Israeli army on Thursday kept on its sweeping assault on Lebanon for the 46th day in a row, with warplanes violently bombing different parts of the southern suburb in Beirut.
Enemy war planes carried nine airstrikes on the suburb, targeting Horaik quarter with 3 raids, al-Abyadh with two, and each of al-Moraija, al-Ma'amoura, Borj al-Brajina and the American quarters with one airstrike, the Lebanese national news agency said on Thursday.
In the central and southern parts of Lebanon, Israeli airstrikes killed 25 civilians and left 14 others with wounds, according to the Lebanese health ministry.
Other raids targeted Bekaa and Baalbek, leaving 40 civilians martyred and 53 wounded, the ministry said.
Hezbollah said the resistance mujahedeen for the first time attacked the naval base of Haifa that houses a fleet of boats and submarines, fired a barrage of drones at Billo base south Tel Aviv, and carried out 34 operations on Wednesday.
