Gaza - Saba:
The Palestinian resistance factions denounced on Thursday the Zionist law that stipulates the deportation of families of Palestinian resistance fighters who carry out fedayeen operations for a period of up to 20 years.. stressing that it will not terrorize the Palestinian people and their resistance.
The Islamic Jihad Movement in Palestine said in a statement: In a new step of the oppression and torture practiced by the enemy against the Palestinian people, the Knesset approved a law that grants the Minister of Interior the authority to deport family members of those who carry out operations for a period of up to 20 years, and also allows the imprisonment of young children, under the age of 14, and issuing sentences against them.
It pointed out that "this dangerous law constitutes a flagrant violation of all international conventions and norms that prohibit collective punishment" .. stressing that the series of laws that the Knesset has recently approved, and which it is working to approve, "are a tool of ethnic cleansing, and part of the machine of the war of extermination against the Palestinian people."
It pointed out that "granting a criminal convicted of committing terrorist crimes, who currently holds the position of Minister of Interior in the entity, the authority to expel entire families as part of imposing collective retaliatory punishments, is the truest expression of the level of moral degradation that the Zionist entity has reached."
The statement also held the so-called international community, international institutions, and regimes that have normalized relations with this entity responsible for its persistence in its aggression against the Palestinian people, due to their shameful silence that gives it cover to implement its criminal aggressive policies.
For its part, the Resistance Committees in Palestine denounced the Zionist law... stressing that it "reveals the Zionist intentions to displace the Palestinian people and empty the occupied lands of their original owners and inhabitants."
The statement stressed that "all oppressive Israeli laws and measures will not succeed in terrorizing the Palestinian people in the territories occupied in 1948, and will not break their will or deter them from their legitimate resistance, struggle and struggle against the enemy."
The statement called for the broadest popular movement and effective resistance to confront this criminal law throughout occupied Palestine... demanding "the free people of the nation and around the world to support the Palestinian people who are being subjected to genocide."
It is noteworthy that the Zionist "Knesset" approved Thursday a law that allows the Zionist Minister of Interior to deport family members of those who carry out fedayeen operations against Zionist targets, for a period of up to 20 years.
It also approved a temporary measure for a period of five years that allows for the imposition of prison sentences on minors under the age of 14, who are convicted by the enemy of murder crimes related to resistance activities or within the framework of the activity of Palestinian factions.
The law was passed with the support of 61 Knesset members, and the opposition of 41, while 55 members supported the measure and opposed it 33.
The text of the proposed law to deport family members of attackers of attacks, initiated by Knesset member Hanoch Dov Milvitsky of the Likud party, states: “A family member (a first-degree relative) will be deported to the Gaza Strip or to another destination determined according to the circumstances,” if it is determined that he “had prior knowledge of a plan by a member of his family to carry out an act against us and did not make all the necessary efforts to prevent it.”
