Yemeni Revolution Leader reaffirms ongoing operations against Israeli, American, & British-linked ships
[07/ November/2024]

Sana'a - Saba:

The leader of the Yemeni revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi, reiterated that Yemen's military operations targeting ships associated with Israeli, American, and British interests will continue, as well as operations aimed at the heart of occupied Palestine.

In a speech this afternoon addressing the latest developments in Israeli aggression on Gaza and Lebanon, as well as regional and international updates, Sayyed al-Houthi stated, “Our decision remains firm in countering Israel's ownership-transfer tactics on ships associated with it, as announced by the Yemeni army.”

He affirmed that the outcome of the U.S. elections will not impact Yemen’s foundational stance, adding that the only option for the enemies is to halt aggression and lift the siege on Gaza, and to cease aggression against Lebanon. “Some Arab regimes and their media mouthpieces attempt to incite fear of Trump among our people,” he said, “but we have experience with Trump here in Yemen and across the region. The result was clear: he did not succeed in Yemen or Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iran, or Iraq.”

Al-Houthi further emphasized, “Neither Trump, Biden nor any criminal in this world will deter us from our steadfast, principled religious stance in supporting the Palestinian people. No matter the level of escalation or aggression against us, we will remain unwavering in our religious commitment to support the Palestinian cause.”

He added that the best option for America and others would be to stop the aggression and blockade on Gaza, halt hostilities against Lebanon, and end these wars. “Trump claimed he would end wars,” he said, “so if he is sincere, let him stop the aggression America participates in against Gaza and Lebanon.”

The Yemeni leader also pointed out Trump’s so-called successes, which involved extracting hundreds of billions of dollars from certain Arab regimes, thereby exhausting their economies. He continued, “Trump succeeded in draining these compliant Arab regimes, taking their people’s resources and wealth in exchange for arms that fueled internal strife.”

Sayyed al-Houthi noted that further aggression and strife will not bring about success for Trump, the United States, Israel, Britain, or any enemies of the Muslim world. He added that those fighting today in these battles are the nation's people who believe in God, trust in Him, and are confident in His victory.

The leader, Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, stated that a resilient nation draws strength from the teachings of the Quran, fearing only God and not submitting to any tyrant in the world. He remarked, “We faced American aggression and its allies during Trump’s previous presidency when we were in a weaker position than we are today, relying solely on God.”

He explained that trusting in God grants strength without the need to rely on an abundance or particular type of resources. He added, “We remain steadfast in our stance, and we will continue in this battle alongside the Palestinian people, seeking to please God and relying on Him.”

Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that escalation of operations remains the course, saying, “We will continue to escalate with all that we possess, striving to achieve what is greater, stronger, and more powerful. Our Yemeni people maintain their movement and activity, participating in marches and demonstrations because this is part of our resistance and steadfast position.”

He called on the Yemeni people to turn out in a million-strong demonstration tomorrow in Sana’a and other provinces to declare their resilience and defiance against all tyrants in the world, and to affirm their support for Palestine and Lebanon. He added, “Tomorrow, our people will come out to express their loyalty, resilience, and bravery, affirming their values, faith, and wisdom. Your massive presence will send a message to the Palestinian and Lebanese fighters that we will never leave them alone. You are not alone; we are with you until victory.”

He explained that this massive gathering holds great significance, as it will send a message to the United States and all tyrants that the Yemeni people do not fear any oppressor and are unwavering in their support for the Palestinian people regardless of the challenges.

In the beginning of his speech, Sayyed al-Houthi referred to the crimes committed by the Israeli occupation this week, pointing out that more than 30 massacres have left over 1,300 Palestinians dead or injured. He noted that estimates indicate over 2,000 Palestinians have been killed and more than 4,000 injured in the recent escalation in northern Gaza.

Sayyed al-Houthi highlighted that the Israeli enemy is preventing the entry of food and medical supplies and is enforcing forced displacement on the residents of northern Gaza under bombing, starvation, and massacres. He affirmed that Israel’s military failure and inability to achieve its declared goals have led it to resort to criminal tactics, directly targeting civilians.

He added, "Our brothers, the fighters in Gaza, are resilient, unified, and steadfast, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. This week alone, there were approximately 16 operations by the Al-Qassam Brigades, including ambushes that struck the enemy and direct confrontations with its soldiers, causing further losses."

The leader of the revolution pointed out that the rocket attacks by Saraya al-Quds on the "Sderot" settlement, along with operations by other factions, reflect the enemy’s inability to eliminate the resistance factions. He continued, “As we have repeatedly emphasized, committing grave crimes does not constitute a military achievement, no matter the number of child and female casualties.”

He affirmed that the enemy remains in an evident state of failure as time passes and the scale of its crimes grows. Sadly, he noted, there is no change in the Arab and Islamic stance toward the horrific crimes and escalation occurring in northern Gaza.

He described the Arab and Islamic response to what is happening in Gaza as serious and indicative of a deep moral, spiritual, and humanitarian bankruptcy, adding, “Many individuals within our nations have accepted for themselves the role of mere spectators, with no stance at any level, which is deeply saddening.”

He went on to say, "Even at the Arab and Islamic political and diplomatic level, there is no true position, and some official regimes continue to label Palestinian fighters as terrorists, though their only ‘crime’ is their struggle and defense of their people and holy sites."

Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badreddin al-Houthi explained that Palestinian fighters have done nothing against the regimes that label them as terrorists and still seek positive relations with all the people of the nation. He emphasized that Israeli crimes in Gaza have not led some Arab regimes to classify the enemy as terrorists; instead, some Arab media support the Israeli enemy, serving it explicitly and shamefully, unprecedented even in past periods.

He pointed out that "the current state of the Arab and surrounding Islamic stance—with some exceptions—reminds us of the beginning of the tragedy endured by the Palestinian people.” He questioned, "Just as the British sold illusions, mirages, and promises to the Arabs, the Americans are doing the same today, both abandoning them in astonishing ways with cold disregard."

He continued, “British leaders would tell Arabs who stood with them, ‘You are fools, and your problem is that you believed our promises.’” He noted that the Zionist movement aligned itself with a project supported by Western powers in Britain, America, and Europe, which in turn moved to support it.

He stated that the Zionist project targets the Islamic and Arab world in its land, honor, religion, and all aspects of life, explaining that from the beginning, the Jewish people lacked the necessary population momentum to spread widely throughout the Arab world, and so they began in Palestine.

Sayyed al-Houthi confirmed that Jewish migration to Palestine came from all over the world under British sponsorship. Despite the oppression faced by Jews in Western countries, and before they even ingrained the ideologies that established the Zionist project in Europe, they directed their hatred and hostility against Muslims.

He said, “Those who aligned with the Zionist project moved to target our nation as a religious doctrine in the establishment of what they call 'Greater Israel' and then to take control over the entire region." He clarified that Britain initiated the plan to occupy Palestine without any provocation or hostile action against it from most Arab countries, except for a few isolated areas they had not yet reached.

He noted that some Arab regimes at the time aided the British in halting the Palestinian revolutionary and resistance movement at critical stages. He highlighted that the criminal conduct of the Israeli enemy began from day one, and at that time, Iran had no involvement in what was happening in the Arab region.

He added, “The Islamic Revolution in Iran was loyal to the cause of supporting the Palestinian people as an Islamic duty,” pointing out that early American involvement was a key factor in the fulfillment of the Balfour Declaration and British success, as historical sources confirm.

The leader of the revolution explained that the current state of the Arab nation, combined with British and American influence, enabled the enemies to dominate it. He considered the scattering of the Jewish people over thousands of years as a divine mercy, given the serious threat they posed to human society.

He continued, “The state of Jewish subjugation had restrained them from achieving influence and control. The exceptional situation arose due to the Islamic nation’s neglect of its sacred responsibilities, especially by the Arabs, whose moral, intellectual, and cultural decline has continued, pushing them to rock bottom.”

Sayyed al-Houthi remarked that many forces within the Arab nation had extended their hands to the British, using them at various points in history to assert influence, gain interests, and settle internal conflicts.

He continued, saying, "When the state of the nation declined to rock bottom, it placed itself under divine reckoning, losing its honor, strength, and role among other nations." He emphasized that the Islamic world has become an open ground for various opportunistic powers to exploit its lands, resources, geographic position, and important maritime routes.

He stressed the need for the nation to earnestly strive to correct its situation and emerge from this state of divine reckoning by sincerely turning to God. He explained that if the nation takes responsibility and turns to God, the chain of accountability and subjugation will be lifted from it.

He went on to say, "When the nation stands on its own feet, assuming its responsibilities, relying on God, and purifying its ranks from oppression and corruption, God will grant it support and validation in its global role." He noted that many Western powers would find themselves helpless, failing, and defeated if the nation rises to its responsibilities and corrects its current state.

The leader of the revolution emphasized that apathy, detachment, and ignorance of the unfolding events would bring the nation great losses. He added, “An enlightened direction that responds to God’s guidance within the framework of the nation’s sacred responsibility will receive divine support.”

He attributed the challenges and difficulties faced by the free people of the nation to the fact that they are starting from ground zero, yet with divine support. He emphasized that the Jewish people lacked the inherent strength to establish a unified, strong, and enduring entity on their own, which is why the British initially supported them, followed by the Americans.

He considered the United Nations' recognition of the Zionist entity as an equal member state to be a clear indication of the UN's lack of justice, as the Israeli entity is based on occupation, injustice, heinous crimes, the killing of children and women, and the forced displacement of millions.

Sayyed al-Houthi pointed out that all international institutions established since the Palestinian issue arose have done nothing for Palestine and have instead served Israeli interests. He highlighted that the Western world, seen by many in the nation as a beacon of freedom, civilization, and rights, has supported Israeli oppression and injustice against the Arab and Islamic worlds.

He noted that America has taken on the role of supporting and partnering with Israel alongside Britain. He said, “There are religious doctrines, colonial ambitions, and hostilities embedded in the project against our nation, and they see this as a ripe opportunity, while the weakened state of our nation has only fueled their greed.”

He mentioned that successive American presidents have served Israel and the Zionist project, with Biden openly telling the Arab world of his commitment to the Zionist project that targets their lands, dignity, countries, wealth, and holy sites. Trump, on the other hand, made it a priority to deliver specific achievements for Israel, boasting about doing things previous American presidents had not done.

He added, “Trump said he was willing to give Israel more Arab lands, and he meant it. This reflects the true nature of American intentions, while Arab leaders, racing to show loyalty to him, hold no value in his eyes, no matter what they offer or do.”

Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi pointed out that Trump views the wealthy Arab nations as nothing more than milk cows, while he sees the poor nations as miserable and worthless, with nothing but death and destruction in his plans for them. Under the banner of “normalization,” he worked to subjugate some Arabs to serve Israeli interests and American objectives, co-opting certain Arab regimes by exploiting their peoples’ resources for the benefit of the Zionists.

He continued, “Trump failed in the ‘Deal of the Century’ despite all his arrogance, conceit, disdain, and tyranny, and he will fail again, regardless of the discord he sows and the calamities he inflicts on our nation through his clients and collaborators.”

The leader of the revolution affirmed that the Palestinian cause is protected by a divine promise for the end of the temporary entity and by the faithful believers, who are ready to sacrifice in God’s cause.

He said, “Our nation has before it a profound example of resilience, solidarity, heroism, and an unyielding spirit of resistance embodied by the fighters in Gaza and Lebanon.” He noted that Hezbollah’s resistance front emerged at a time when Israel believed it had Lebanon firmly under its military and political control.

Hezbollah has been a steadfast supporter of the Palestinian people, with its sacrifices and resistance contributing to both the Palestinian cause and Lebanon’s pride, freedom, protection, and independence. Since the start of the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation, Hezbollah has stood with determination, effectiveness, credibility, and resilience, significantly impacting the enemy on the southern Lebanese front.

He continued, “The enemy thought it had managed to defeat Hezbollah but was taken by surprise in the ground operations, suffering battlefield losses and major setbacks. On the fortieth day after the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, a leader of Islam and humanity, the entire Islamic nation mourned his loss; he was a rare historical leader.”

Sayyed al-Houthi emphasized that Sayyed Nasrallah left behind a complete legacy, a school that continues to produce brave heroes, warriors, and believers who face the enemy with courage, steadfastness, insight, and faith. He added, “Hezbollah conducted a powerful operation on the fortieth day of Sayyed Nasrallah’s passing, targeting occupied Jaffa, settlements, and Zionist factories, which demonstrates its strength and presence.”

He went on, “The enemy believed it had won the battle with Hezbollah, only to be taken aback by Hezbollah’s enduring presence, unity, and impactful operations within a framework of leadership and control.” He described Sheikh Naim Qassem’s recent speech as powerful, reinforcing Hezbollah’s steadfast stance and commitment to its path.

Sayyed al-Houthi also discussed the ongoing, active, and effective operations of the Islamic resistance in Iraq, despite significant political and media pressures to halt them. He explained that Israel’s situation remains challenging, regardless of its heinous crimes, which do not translate to a military victory or achievement.

He said, “Israel’s reality is one of crisis. Netanyahu’s dismissal of his partner in crime, Gallant, is a reflection of his internal struggles. The recruitment crisis in the Israeli army follows the loss of hundreds of soldiers and thousands of wounded, with a pressing need to replenish these losses.”

He added, “Even though Israel has mobilized its reserve forces to the maximum, it still faces a recruitment shortfall and endures a severe internal crisis. Netanyahu promises to restore security to Israelis, but they remain in a state of widespread fear and face severe economic challenges, despite American support covering 75% of the costs of their aggression and crimes.”

Sayyed al-Houthi concluded by highlighting that Israel’s economy is highly strained and in deep crisis, with its losses estimated at $160 billion to date.
