A surgical medical team at Al-Sab'een Maternity and Childhood Hospital in the capital, Sana'a, performed a complex, qualitative operation to separate the urethra from the rectum of a child from Al-Hodeidah Governorate.
The operation was performed on the two-year-old child, Aziza Al-Sha'bi, under the supervision of the hospital's pediatric surgery and congenital malformations consultant, Dr. Abdul Karim Qasim.
The surgical team explained that the operation, which took an hour, was crowned with success.
