Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas appreciated on Friday the Spanish government's prevention of two ships coming from the United States of America, carrying "weapons and military supplies" to the Zionist enemy, from docking in the port of Algeciras.
The movement confirmed in a statement that this position comes in line with Spain's honorable position in rejecting the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip, and preventing the supply of weapons to it to continue the war of genocide it is committing against our Palestinian people.
It said: "The continued support of the US administration for the Zionist occupation with weapons and military equipment holds it legally, politically, morally and humanitarianly responsible for its crimes, massacres and the war of genocide committed by its Zionist army against civilians for more than a year."
Hamas called on "the United Nations to issue a resolution criminalizing and prohibiting the export of weapons to the Zionist entity, and to pressure by all means to force it to stop the war of genocide and its ongoing aggression against our land, our people and our sanctities."
Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares confirmed that his country will not allow ships carrying weapons for the Zionist enemy to dock in its ports, indicating that the refusal is consistent with the government’s decision not to grant licenses to export weapons to the enemy entity since October 7, because Spain “does not want to contribute to the war.”
