Tehran - Saba:
The commander of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Maj. Gen. Hossein Salami, said Friday that the Gaza resistance was able to change the US administration in the recent elections due to its involvement in the war on Gaza, stressing that the actual defeat of the Zionist enemy is "imminent."
Salami added, during a speech in the eastern Iranian city of Mashhad, that his country in the operation "Sincere Promise 2", early last October, has shown only part of its missile power, revealing the targeting of the Zionist base in the Netzarim corridor "separating northern Gaza from its south" in the Gaza Strip.
Lebanese Hezbollah has recovered after blowing up communication devices and assassinating its leaders, he said, and today it "controls the field and has managed to stop an entity that enjoys the support of Western powers, not just America," saying, "The Zionists are attacking everything and bombing Lebanese cities in an unprecedented manner, but they have so far failed to occupy an important part of southern Lebanon."
"The enemy today is losing its self-confidence and hope for victory. Jabhat al-Islam is fighting the enemy at the nearest distance and zero distance," he said, noting that the confrontation with the Zionist enemy "is taking place in Gaza and Lebanon ostensibly, but its political extension is international."
He stressed that the Zionist entity is "an American state par excellence that secures America's interests in the region," stressing that 98% of the Zionist economy depends on the sea and "imagine that if the ports of this entity are destroyed in the Mediterranean Sea, what will its situation be? That is enough to bring down the Zionist entity."
Referring to the US presidential election won by former US President Donald Trump, Salami said that these elections showed that "the resistance to Gaza can change the American administration that ignited the war and the Democrats had supported the war on Palestine with all their might, but the American people did not vote for those who prepared the Zionist war machine."
He stressed that the achievement of the United States within a year of the battle of the Al-Aqsa flood is the destruction of its political image globally.
