Acting governor of Taiz province Ahmed al-Masawi inspected on Saturday the ongoing work in a number of service and development projects.
Al-Masawi was briefed on the progress of work on the project to establish the College of Health Sciences at Taiz University, al-Hawban branch, which is located on an area of 1,200 square meters, based on the directives of Mahdi al-Mashat, President of the Supreme Political Council.
Al-Masawi directed those in charge of the project to redouble efforts and complete construction work and equip it on time according to technical specifications and standards.
The acting governor, along with representative of the Public Works Sector Eng. Bakil Hamid also inspected the ongoing work on the project to asphalt September 21 Street, the second phase, extending from Defense Street to al-Sitteen Street to the north.
The progress of work on the asphalt project of Martyr Abu Zaid Suwaih Street, which is 1.8 km long and 30 meters wide, was also inspected to ease traffic congestion at Mawiah Junction in al-Taiziyah district.
Al-Masawi urged adherence to technical specifications and standards and to ensure completion of the work on time according to technical specifications and standards.
