Sana'a - Saba:

A key meeting in Sana'a, chaired by Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Nasher al-Qaoud, on Saturday outlined preparations for the upcoming annual medical camp dedicated to supporting the families of martyrs.

The camp, which coincides with the annual martyrdom anniversary, will provide vital medical services to martyrs' families in the capital and various governorates.

The meeting, attended by health officials and hospital directors, emphasized the collaboration between public, private, and military healthcare facilities in delivering essential medical care. Services will include general examinations, surgical procedures, and specialized treatments, with more complex cases referred to hospitals for further care.

Dr. al-Qaoud highlighted the crucial role of the medical community in alleviating the hardships faced by martyrs' families and acknowledged the ongoing support of hospitals in this effort. The camp will feature 24 medical stations, with the central one located at Sana'a University, and 11 additional camps in the capital and surrounding governorates.

In a parallel discussion, the Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the Supreme Authority for Medicines and Medical Supplies, also met with business and pharmaceutical representatives to ensure the provision of necessary medical supplies for the camp.

The initiative will cover 15 medical specialties, with specialists and consultants offering their expertise to serve the families of those who have sacrificed their lives in defense of the nation.
