The Education and Scientific Research Ministry announced the delay of the school morning assembly in schools in the provinces affected by the extension of the cold air mass to 8 a.m., starting next Saturday.

In a circular received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the Ministry of Education's Curriculum and Education Planning Sector confirmed that this circular comes based on the recommendations of the General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology - Meteorological Sector regarding taking appropriate precautionary measures to avoid the effects of cold weather during the early morning hours in order to ensure the health , safety of male and female students, and spare them from cold blows, especially first graders, as they are most vulnerable to being affected by the cold wave.

The circular called on the directors of education offices in the capital and provinces to take measures to compensate for any educational losses resulting from the delayed start of the first class.
