Sana'a province kicked off on Tuesday the sports championship for directorate teams as part of commemorating the martyr anniversary , and in support of Al-Aqsa flood.
The opening match brought together the teams of Al-Hosn and Jahana districts and ended with the latter winning by three goals against two goals, the director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, Abdul Mohsen Al-Sharif, said.
After the match, the director of the Youth and Sports Office in the province, Abdul Mohsen Al-Sharif, explained that the tournament comes within the framework of sensitizing everyone to the importance of the culture of jihad and martyrdom and the greatness of martyrs who gave their blood and lives cheaply for the sake of pride and dignity.
He pointed out that teams from ten districts are participating in the tournament, which will last for 15 days on a winner-take-all system, divided into two groups.
