Vice Chairman of the Supreme National Authority for Combating Corruption Redan al-Mutawakel received on Wednesday the second financial asset declaration from former Minister of Health Dr. Taha Ahmed al-Mutawakel.
During the handover, which was attended by Commission members Dr. Abdulaziz al-Kumaim and Eng. Harith al-Amari, the Vice Chairman of the Commission praised Dr. al-Mutawakel's commitment to complying with Article (16) of the Financial Disclosure Law, which mandates the submission of financial declarations within two months after the end of service for those subject to the law.
Redan al-Mutawakel emphasized that Dr. al-Mutawakel is the first former minister from the National Salvation Government to submit his financial declaration upon completing his tenure as Minister of Health.
He urged all former ministers to promptly submit their declarations in line with the law to ensure transparency and accountability.
For his part, Dr. al-Mutawakel explained that his submission of the declaration was in full compliance with the requirements of the Financial Disclosure Law, underscoring his commitment to upholding the principles of transparency and legal compliance.
