The Secretary-General of the Local Council in Sana'a Governorate, Abdul Qader Al-Jilani, inspected today the progress of work on completing the paving of 24th Street in Al-Sawad area in the New Sana'a District with funding from the local authority in the governorate.
The Secretary-General, along with the governorate's deputies, Engineer Saleh Al-Muntaser, Muhammad Ayed, and Abdullah Al-Tahiri, listened from the official of the Public Works Sector in the governorate, Engineer Muhammad Ashiyah, to an explanation of the project being implemented by the executive unit at a value of 43 million and 858 thousand riyals, with a length of 220 meters and a width of 24 meters.
Ashiyah explained that the work is proceeding according to the technical standards and specifications, and the time period specified for implementing the project and approved in the tender booklet.
Al-Jilani stressed the keenness of the local authority leadership in the governorate to implement service projects that contribute to improving the aesthetic appearance, stressing the need to raise the level of implementation of road projects, in a way that contributes to preserving means of transportation and reducing traffic congestion.
They were accompanied during the visit by the governorate advisor, Eng. Abdul Rahman Al-Murtada, and the director of the New Sana'a Directorate, Abdullah Al-Marouni.
