Two commemorative evenings were held on Thursday in Bani al-Awam district in Hajjah province to mark the Martyr’s Anniversary.
The events, which took place in Qalaat al-Sharqi and Arja al-Qudami, focused on honoring the sacrifices of martyrs and emphasizing the importance of remembering their heroism and the victories they achieved through their dedication and sacrifices.
Speakers at both events highlighted the need to care for the families of martyrs, encourage visits to martyrs' gardens and exhibitions, and use the anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on the lessons and moral values derived from their sacrifices.
The gatherings also called on the public to support the community by joining local agricultural initiatives and paying zakat and endowment dues.
The events, attended by District's Mobilization Officer Faisal Maran and various officials, included poetry recitations and other cultural performances.
In addition, two more evenings were held in al-Sham and Madikha areas in al-Shahel district, where district director Walid Abu Dunya, and Judge Fouad Abkar of Qafl Shammar Court participated.
Speakers, including Mobilization Officer Abdullah al-Wadhaf and Cultural Officer Ali al-Tihami, paid tribute to the martyrs' sacrifices and stressed their pivotal role in achieving freedom, dignity, and independence.
The commemorations reinforced the message that the martyrs’ heroism continues to inspire the fight for justice and the protection of national values.
