Enemy media: Recruitment manpower crisis due to high casualty rates
[15/ November/2024]
Occupied Al-Quds - Saba:

The Zionist enemy "Army" radio reported today that the combat formation in the occupation army is currently at 83% of what is needed, indicating a manpower crisis within the military.

The radio said the figure was due to "the large losses in deaths and injuries since the beginning of the war."

According to the radio, next year in 2025, the combat formation will reach only 81% of its requirements. If the regular service is extended to three years, this percentage will increase to 96%.

The radio reported that the Israeli occupation army urged the political leadership to quickly approve legislation extending regular military service to 36 months.

He urged the military not to connect this legislation to other laws regarding ultra-Orthodox recruitment and reserve service, stating that this is an urgent and immediate need.

Israeli Army Radio reported that fewer than 4% of the three thousand Haredi recruitment orders resulted in military service, due to the political support given by ministers like Ben Gvir to students in Jewish seminaries.

Israeli media highlighted the challenging situation on the ground, noting that "the army urgently needs seven thousand recruits." Currently, there are 18,000 reservist fighters and 20,000 combat support personnel registered as part of the Israeli army's reserve force, but they are not reporting for duty when called, according to data from the "Manpower" division.
