An earthquake measuring 4.9 on the Richter scale hit the central Turkish state of Malatya on Friday, according to the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Department (Avad).
The administration said in a statement: The earthquake occurred at 10:46 (+3 GMT). Noting that the epicenter of the earthquake in the "Dogansehir" area in Malatya, and occurred at a depth of seven kilometers.
Malatya governor , Sedar Yauz, confirmed on his social media account that there were no immediate reports of human or material losses as a result of the earthquake.
