Sana'a - Saba:
The General Mobilization Office in al-Safiyah district of the Capital Sana'a on Friday organized a cultural event to commemorate the anniversary of the martyr and honor the sons of martyrs and students of the Holy Quran circles at Imam Zaid Center.
Cultural and educational activist Mulatef al-Matari delivered a speech highlighting the important role of the Imam Zaid Center in teaching and memorizing the Quran.
Al-Matari urged the students to not only memorize the Quran but to reflect on its verses and integrate its teachings into their lives as a means of strengthening the nation in the face of external challenges.
He also encouraged parents to support their children’s participation in Quran circles at al-Bina/ teaching mosques to protect them from harmful influences and the ongoing "soft war" targeting the younger generation.
The event emphasized the importance of annually commemorating the martyrdom of fallen heroes, honoring their sacrifices, and following their example of selflessness in the service of Allah.
Al-Matari called on the community to care for the families of martyrs, as a vital responsibility.
The gathering was attended by educational and social leaders, and included Quran recitations by students as well as the recognition of the children of martyrs and outstanding students from the Quran circles.
The event served as a reminder of the deep connections between religious teachings, national pride, and the ongoing commitment to the values of sacrifice and resilience.
