Sana'a - Saba:
The General Authority for Endowments office in Capital Secretariat issued a clarification statement regarding "Abdulghani Daif Saree Razhi" who demonstrated by trying to set himself on fire in Al-Sabeen Square.
In a statement, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the office pointed out that Al-Razhi has never submitted any complaint, grievance or review to the General Authority for Endowments or any of its offices or branches in any matter related to endowments, but he works as part of a gang trying to loot endowment lands led by Jibran Musleh Al-Shami, the same person who filmed this incident and paid him for this act as a means of pressure to enable Al-Shami to loot the land of the endowment in exchange for a percentage that Al-Razhi receives from that land.
The Office of Endowments stated that it asked the so-called Gibran Musleh Al-Shami to resort to the judiciary if he has any right or grievance, to attend the previously formed committee on the case, not to attack and rob by force of arms the funds and properties of the Endowments and the rights of citizens, but he refused all this, knowing that he was previously requested by the Public Prosecution to attend, but he also refused to respond, using his influence to rebel against the judicial and security authorities, so the Public Prosecution issued a forced summons for Al-Shami and his gang.
The statement pointed out that the office of the Endowments Authority in the Secretariat is still demanding that the gang resort to the judiciary if they have a right, and is committed to implementing its legal rulings, as the judicial authority is the competent authority to adjudicate disputes.
